In France, the 723 stores trading under the Mr. Bricolage, Les Briconautes and other brands of affiliated retailers had sales of EUR 1.8896 bn, 0.7 per cent down on the previous year. Like-for-like sales increased by 0.4 per cent. Five new Mr. Bricolage stores opened and three new outlets in the Les Briconautes distribution channel.
The group also has 71 outlets in eleven other countries. In Belgium, its most important foreign market with 46 stores and a share of 55 per cent, sales declined by 1.9 per cent. The eleven stores in Bulgaria, the second most important market with a share of twelve per cent, increased their sales by 0.4 per cent. Outside of France, Mr. Bricolage's sales totalled EUR 235.7 mio, 2.8 per cent less than in the previous year. Like-for-like sales were also down by 2.1 per cent.
