Japan’s number one DCM aims to acquire Keiyo

The DCM Group, market leader in the Japanese DIY trade, aims to acquire Keiyo, according to various financial information services with reference to company press releases. Keiyo is considered number six or seven in the Japanese sector rankings. Its sales fell by 6.8 per cent in the last financial year to JPY 157.797 bn.With net sales amounting to JPY 431.584 bn, the DCM Group achieved growth of 1.6 per cent in fiscal 2015/2016 (ended 29 February 2016). The company operates the distribution channels DCM Kahma, DCM Daiki and DCM Homac in the Japanese market.
