BackInternational Hardware Association becomes member of Ghin
The International Hardware Association (IHA) has become a member of Global Home Improvement Network (Ghin), with effect from 1 January 2018. IHA is not an association for large-area DIY stores, but represents the interests of privately-owned retail hardware and housewares businesses as global umbrella organization. 14 country associations belong to it as members.
Sergio Giroldi, President of Edra/Ghin, welcomes the IHA as a new member of the network, particularly as both organisations share a common interest, namely to improve people's homes and thus their quality of life, according to a press report from Edra/Ghin.
By joining Ghin, the Chairman of the IHA, Jean-François Dubost, is delighted that this new partnership will give its members new ways to engage and learn from each other, and build a network of friendship, the press report continues.
It states that the ultimate aim of GHIN is to improve the level of home improvement retailing through the sharing between members of information and best practices. With the addition of the IHA, with its 14 country associations and its thousands of hardware stores globally, Ghin has significantly extended its reach and is proud to represent the whole world of home improvement.
