Domotex Hannover is regarded as the world’s top trade show for carpets and floor coverings.

Domotex, the trade fair for floor coverings, will also be staged in North America from 2019. The premiere of Domotex USA will take place from 28 February to 2 March 2019 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta in the US state of Georgia. The trade fair will focus on carpets and floor coverings for the North American residential property market. In particular, exhibitors from the North American carpet and floor covering industry will introduce their products at Domotex USA. These will include machine-made and handmade rugs, textile and elastic floor coverings, design flooring coverings (LVT) as well as parquet, wood and laminate flooring. Application and installation technologies will also be presented.

Domotex USA is organised by Hannover Fairs USA, a US subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG, which has held the original Domotex since 1988 in Hanover (Germany). There are already other foreign offshoots in China (Domotex asia/Chinafloor, 20 to 22 March 2018 in Shanghai) and Turkey (24 to 27 April 2018 in Gaziantep). Domotex Hannover, which is regarded as the world's top trade show for carpets and floor coverings, starts this week and will take place from 12 to 15 January.

"Many industry representatives have been asking us for years to launch the Domotex brand in the North American market, as there has not been a flooring trade fair in the eastern US that demonstrates the quality and breadth of the world's leading carpet and flooring show, the Domotex Hannover," says Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Management Board, Deutsche Messe AG. The trade fair will target the whole spectrum of North American buyers, including wholesalers and retailers who sell carpets, floor coverings and home textiles, as well as home building companies, developers, building contractors, carpet and flooring fitters, interior designers and tradesmen.
