Gardena increases adjusted sales by nine percent

Husqvarna Group's business unit Gardena made net sales of SEK 1.715 bn in the first quarter of 2017. This is an increase of 13 per cent, nine per cent after adjusting for currency effects. One of the main reasons for the increase, according to the quarterly report, is growth in the area of robotic lawnmowers.

In contrast, the business unit Consumer Brands, into which the Swedish group's other garden tool brands are combined, recorded a minus of four per cent after adjusting for currency effects.  Unadjusted sales increased by one per cent to SEK 3.461 bn.
