The Swedish distance retailer Skånska Byggvaror is expanding its bricks and mortar stores. In the coming year the company, which took over the DIY retailer Byggmax in November, plans on opening five new stores in Sweden, which brings its total to nine stores. There are already two stores in Norway running under the Grönt Fokus brand name.
The Skånska Byggvaror stores operate using shop-in-shop solutions, built inside existing Plantagen stores. They are slightly larger than 600 m² and are integrated into Plantagen's green surroundings and vegetation. Here, Skånska Byggvaror showcases its product range of sun rooms, greenhouses, windows and doors and also includes Jacuzzis, storage solutions and cabins.
