Cashbuild opens first store in Zambia

Cashbuild, southern Africa's leader building material retailer opened a store in Kabwe Zambia.

Cashbuild, southern Africa's leading building materials retailer, has opened a store in Kabwe, Zambia. This is Cashbuild's first store in Zambia and there are plans afoot to open more in the future. Cashbuild is now represented in seven countries.

Cashbuild sells a comprehensive range of building materials as well as related building products. These include a basic range of decorative items, an in-depth selection of tools, taps, plumbing, electrical lines and everything else that is required to complete a building project.

Expansion into the south of Africa forms part of Cashbuild's current store development programme along with continued growth locally in South Africa. The same standards of quality, affordability and in-store experience will be rolled out from South Africa to stores in other countries.

In line with a focus on micro markets, the Cashbuild range takes into consideration local building requirements and preferences. These are then incorporated into Cashbuild's product offering.

Committed community development and support initiatives also play a fundamental role in the delivery of Cashbuild's mission, which is to make a positive contribution to every community in which it operates. It is with this foundation in place that Cashbuild stays relevant and achieves continued sustainable growth.
