Magnus Agervald (41) is leaving Byggmax. He became deputy CEO of the Swedish DIY retail group in 2006 and CEO in 2008. In a move that will be completed by January 2017, he is joining Ratos, an investment company that owns and develops unlisted medium-sized Nordic companies.
Prior to joining Byggmax, Agervald was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, an investment manager at the Nordic private equity firm IDI, and the founder of Icomera, a mobile internet company.
