Bauhaus opens online shop in Switzerland

At the start of December the German DIY store operator Bauhaus opened an online shop for the Swiss market. The business blog carpathia.ch reports that setting it up took nearly half a year. Furthermore, it is said that 20 000 articles can be ordered from the shop. The website is available in both German and French, even though the contents of the latter still appear to be very thin. In addition to articles from the fields of DIY, building materials and gardening, various advisory and service offers are available.
Until now, Bauhaus has operated four DIY stores in Switzerland. It was only recently that the German DIY chains Hornbach and Obi also presented online shops for Switzerland.
