Booths at the Taiwan Hardware Show have sold out faster than ever this year, according to the fair organiser Kaigo. The show will take place in Taichung from 11 to 13 October 2017. By May the entire exhibition floor space of 15 000 m² in the Greater Taichung International Expo Centre had been reserved for the 17th edition of the THS in the autumn. Around 350 local and foreign manufacturers have registered their participation, equating to an eight per cent increase in booth numbers and twelve per cent enlargement of the floor area compared to the last edition in 2016.
"The prospective exhibitors' response has been overwhelmingly competitive and satisfyingly pleasurable for us as an organiser," commented Gerd Keim, president of Kaigo Co. Ltd with regard to the booking figures. "We look forward to providing a beneficial exhibition to all participating companies as well as buyers to fulfil their procurement needs."
The three-day event will cover eight showcase categories:  tools and accessories, locks and fittings, fasteners and fittings, building supplies, garden and outdoor equipment, automotive supplies and accessories, machines and plant equipment and safety equipment and products. Of these, tool manufacturers constitute the largest exhibitor category.

The tools hardware export achievement also exceeds the machine tools numbers for the first time since the mid-1980s, when Taiwan began its revolutionary industrial development and new industrial clusters such as Taichung were established.
It is expected that Business for Taiwan's competitive manufacturers will continue to expand as the huge worldwide demand and popularity of Taiwan-manufactured hardware are still on the rise. People are quick to point out in this regard that Taiwanese manufacturers even deliver to international companies such as Mercedes Benz and BMW or NASA in…
