Gardena achieves a slight sales increase in the first quarter

Gardena's sales increased by 2 per cent to SEK 4.414 bn (EUR 380 mio) in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year. Organic growth also amounted to 2 per cent, while currency effects had no impact. Strong sales were achieved in the irrigation category and in hand tools in Europe.

In addition, ETwater, a US company in the irrigation market, was acquired during the quarter. With this acquisition, the parent company Husqvarna has created a new unit within the Gardena division, focussing on commercial irrigation.
