Austrian garden centre chain Bellaflora has opened another branch of its inner-city sales format Salon Verde in Vienna. The store is in Wieden, Vienna's fourth district. It cooperates with regional suppliers and uses sustainable materials, offering products such as flowerpots made from potato starch or planters made from recycled plastic. In the store itself, the focus is on sustainable operation, for example by using economical LED lighting, according to the company.

A special feature is that the shop is housed in a historic building dating back to 1912. The shop fittings extend over several rooms on different levels, with each room dedicated to a special theme ranging from plants and accessories to culinary items and natural cosmetics.

Bellaflora opened its first Salon Verde store in Vienna in November 2022.
