Roughly four months prior to the start of Ferroforma, 75 per cent of the exhibition area has already been reserved. The 22nd edition of the International Hardware, DIY and Industrial Supplies Fair will be held from 6 to 8 June at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (Spain).
This year, the fair will be offering a specific meeting area for manufacturers and locksmiths, coordinated by APECS, Spain's Association of Locksmiths and Security Professionals. The APECS Area will include spaces for demonstrations, meetings and technical training.
At the same time, Ferroforma's Technical Conferences have a draft schedule for their e-commerce section. The first day of conferences will revolve around two subject areas: trends in the digital era and business strategies, which are closely related to consumer knowledge, and sales channel selection. The second day will be devoted to analysing communication with customers through new media, and to logistics. The third day will provide three different examples of how distribution companies have positioned themselves in the digital world. The schedule of events was designed by Diego L. Martín, founder of Black T and former e-commerce manager for home and DIY at the retail group El Corte Inglés.
Furthermore, Ferroforma will be offering its Second B2B Meetings, a series of arranged interviews. On this occasion, the matchmaking will be carried out directly between exhibitors and visitors within the same platform as the programme.
