Third quarter

Home Pro returns to higher growth rates

06.11.2017

The Thai DIY store chain Home Pro performed somewhat better in the third quarter, which it attributes to the improvement in the Thai economy. Sales income rose compared with the third quarter of 2016 by 9.27 per cent to THB 15 098 mio. The increase was driven by new stores as well as same store growth.
In the third quarter the company opened a Mega Home outlet in Thailand as well as two Home Pro stores in Malaysia, where it now operates five stores. Two Home Pro Living stores were also converted into Home Pro S stores.
The company describes this store format as follows: "These HomePro S remodelled stores are designed to meet the demand from customers in three main areas: the 'Small concept' - a cosy compact style, located in shopping centres; the 'Select concept' - to serve all customer needs for repairs, improvements and replacements; and the 'Service concept' - home service by a professional Home Pro team."
