Kesko’s building and home improvement trade grows by 0.7 per cent

The building and home improvement trade of the Finnish Kesko group made sales of € 2.196 bn last year. This is a growth of 0.7 per cent. In local currencies, net sales were up by 3.7 per cent. In Finland, the group made sales of € 826 mio in the building and home improvement trade, which is 4.1 per cent more than the previous year.
In respective local currencies, net sales grew in Sweden by 4.7 per cent, in Norway by 0.6 per cent and in Russia by 0.3 per cent. Additionally, the financial statement release states that in the building and home improvement trade, growth strengthened especially in B2B trade.
The individual net sales (which, however, cannot be added together due to the effect of intercompany sales):
