The Lagerhaus DIY stores and garden centres in Austria increased their sales by four per cent in 2016. This provisional estimate was announced by the chain's parent company, RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria, at a press conference in Vienna. The Lagerhaus stores have thus increased their market share in Austria to nearly 25 per cent.
From 2018 onwards the distribution channel will have its own online shop covering the whole of Austria. It is anticipated that by 2030 roughly 30 per cent of all DIY and garden sales will be generated online.
