Kesko's building and technical trade is up until September

Kesko made sales of € 1.1533 bn in its building and technical trade division in the third quarter. That is 9.4 per cent less than the same period last year. However comparable change is slightly positive and amounts to 0.6 per cent. The high deficit - this was -19.90 per cent in Finland - is a result of factors including the divestment of the K-maatalous business and the furniture trade in the second quarter.
Therefore, the nine month figures for the building and technical trade of the Finnish group also look much more positive. Here there was an increase of 17.1 per cent to € 3.5814 bn. The changes in comparable terms and in local currencies amounted to 1.1 per cent in Finland, 0.1 per cent abroad and 0.6 per cent in total.
